Teenagers are crazy!!

Ok, so the other night, my ususally nice teenage daughter turned into one of those crazy teenage girls you hear about. This doesn't happen very often, but when it does, it makes me want to be an "empty nester"! Maybe this is why God created teenagers this way. He makes them crazy enough at times for the parents to want to personally pack them up and help them move out! The times she goes (I need an original name for "postal" with a teenage theme), usually revolve around when she thinks we're going to take her cell phone for what ever rule she broke. My husband says she's addicted and therefore behaves like an addict having her drug taken away. This may be fairly close to being true, but are all teenagers this addicted to their phones? We didn't have cell phones when I was her age, but I wasn't connected to my rotary dial the same way she's addicted to her cell phone! Was I? Man, I hope not.

I guess I can be thankful that when one teenager goes crazy, the other is especially nice to me. If this wasn't the case, perhaps I'd want to devour my young. jk...
